Computer Sciences) Information Management and Technology professional with substantial international experience in Information Management & Information Technology management that span over 30 years. More than 15 of those years were spent on top management roles in a reputable global organization, Shell. He has worked both in Shell Netherlands and Nigeria before retiring in Q1 2012 as the Regional Information & Technology Manager - Shell Upstream International, Sub Saharan Africa.

He has been providing Information Management and Technology (IM&T) Consultancy services to various clients since his retirement in 2012.

John Bola Okerinde (B.Tech, M.Tech, PMP, PgCert Research Methods) John Bola Okerinde is a seasoned Information and Communication Technology (ICT) professional with passion for excellence in IT project and application delivery underpinned by excellent interpersonal skills and strong drive to achieve set business outcome.

With about 30 years of broad IT project and application delivery experience in the energy business around Africa and Europe,  Bola has gained relevant skills such as IM & T Strategy Development, stakeholder engagement, resource management and virtual team working, business intimacy, cost management, and business control compliance, requirement analysis and business management  interface skills.

He was the Project Information Technology Manager (PIM) for Bonga South West Aparo (BSWA) capital project, a multi-billion-dollar oil and gas development that aims to build and operate a new Floating, Production, Storage and Offloading (FPSO) facility, in the Gulf of Guinea. Prior to his BSWA PIM’s role, he worked as an IT portfolio consultant for Shell in Europe where his remit included providing IT business application services to Shell companies in the UK, Norway and the Netherlands.

He has participated in large and cross-portfolio projects including SAP. He has successfully completed the IT Leadership Academy focusing on communicating for impact, enhancing business decision and obtaining stakeholder commitment.

Bola has been providing Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Consultancy services to various clients since his retirement from Shell E & P in 2017.
